Charter Description
Charter Background/Mission Statement Doomed Lemmings is a raiding group open to folks of all stripes, gear levels, and seriousness. We started as a late night guild focusing on late night events up on the calendar for the insomniacs, night owls, early risers, and different time zone players of SWTOR. Doomed Lemmings was formed out of a number of late night PUGs who wanted to try throwing themselves at HM ops for fun, and with the expectation that at any moment things might go horribly wrong and everyone might have to throw themselves off a cliff to avoid repair bills. When our PUG suddenly and unexpectedly did a full clear on HM EV8 we knew we could form up into a real raiding group, and start scheduling real events. When we moved to Begeren Colony we launched a guild to go with the ops groups.
Attitude and Personality We are a VERY laid back group who spend a fair bit of time messing around on fleet and out in the world, often shirtless, but magically transform into a progression minded raid group once we step into the ops. We've got some serious groups and some casual groups, mostly pulling from within the Doomed Lemmings guild. Top ^
Slotting Guidelines
Operation Makeup For EV8 and KP8 we are running: 1 tank, 1 offtank(focus on dps), 2 healers, and 4 dps(pref mix of ranged/melee). For EC/TFB we are pretty firm about 2 tanks, 2 ranged, 2 melee, 2 healers. 16 man Story runs are more flexible on the mix of other roles who come down.
Slotting a) Preferences: Regulars->Known Cool People->Everyone Else b) Requirements: #1 Be Cool. No whining, no drama, no lameness. No calling out other people over mistakes. We are all here to have fun and you should be too. #2 Follow instructions. You don't need to know every fight by heart, but you should be able to follow instructions and listen to the pre-encounter briefings. Reading the guides ahead of time is a big help too, and is much appreciated. #3 Have appropriate gear. No-one likes to spend time mastering the mechanics of a fight only to come up against an enrage timer because someone showed up in 44 greens. The guidelines below are a good starting point, but we are flexible, and will take undergeared people if we have enough people who are overgeared signed up. Story Mode EV/KP/TFB: Minimum - Recruit Set. Recommended: Purple 49 mods from daily quests, Tionese gear, Purple 49/50 gear. Hard Mode EV/KP, Story Mode EC: Minimum- 1/2 Columi/Battlemaster with the rest purple 49/50s. Recommended: Full Columi/Battlemaster. Nightmare Mode EV/KP: Minimum- 1/2 Rakata. Recommended: Full Rakata Hard Mode EC: Minimum- Full Rakata, 1400 sustained dps on Lvl 50 Ops training dummy, Recommended: Fully Augmented Rakata. Mandatory: Extensive experience on full clears of Story EC Hard Mode TFB/Nightmare Mode EC: Full 61, 1700 sustained dps. Recommended: Fully Augmented 61. Mandatory: Extensive experience on full clears of the previous ops levels. The Charter will be providing Stims to the raid, assuming we are downing enough bosses to have the money to do so. Top ^
Operation Time Information
Standby and operation start info a) Invites start at: 15 minutes before raid start time. Please be in the instance, buffed, and ready to pull at raid start time. b) Standbys are pulled in at: Raid start time. c) Standbys should check in via: Sending a whisper to the CLs 15 minutes before raid start time. d) Standbys will be notified by: We will send a tell to everyone who has checked in, or if things are crazy will post in the /leftovers channel. e) Other: I'm hoping that everyone can be ACTUALLY ready to pull at raid start time. No-one likes to wait around inside for that last person to turn in quests, get gear, respec etc, so try to be ready.
What in-game chat channels should players join for their operation designations? /ops is fine, though everybody should be in /leftovers too, especially standbys.
What Voice Server/Channel should players join? We're using the LO teamspeak 3 server. voice.leftoversraiding.org:10116 pw:meatloaflo in the Doomed Lemmings channel. We'll pass out the server info in /ops chat, but it would be a big help if you download teamspeak ahead of time, and save the LO server as a bookmark after. Are there any required 3rd party applications you use? We do require our raiders to use the MOX Desktop parser for our raids, to help balance damage between bosses and identify problem areas. http://memoriesofxendor.com/parser/desktop/ Top ^
Charter Discretion Loot and Charter Social Preferences
How is Charter Discretion loot handled? a) Schematics: /roll among crafters with the skill. Note: Biochem consumable schematics (stims/medpacks/adrenals, but not implants) will go to Moon first unless she already has it, so she can make these items for the raid. b) Crafting Mats: LOP->sent to the guild bank and sold on the GTN for credits to use to pay for stims for the raid. c) Mounts/Vehicles: LOP->/roll d) Vanity Pets: LOP->/roll e) BoPs: LOP->/roll f) BoEs: LOP->Guild Bank(for stims money) h) Bioanalysis and Scavenging mats from mobs, or other gathering nodes: first come, first served. i) Any/all other Charter Discretion loots not specifically described above: LOP->/roll until specified otherwise.
What Charter Social Preferences do you have? Please Shroud on gear that you really want. Please Standard(Need) gear that will help the raid. If you are frequently called on to change specs to fill a given slot, this means you can Need on both your specs. Standard is for gear that you will use on that character, so you cannot standard to sell on the gtn or give to an alt. Please Save(Greed) on gear that won't actively help the raid, such as for offspecs you don't actively raid with, for Companions/Alts/Vanity etc. If you have won a lot of items that night due to lucky rolls, please consider passing to people who haven't won items, or for whom the items would be a bigger upgrade. Loot Rules for Non-LOP Events
For Non-LOP events (some world bosses, speed runs, some story modes)we will be using the built in SWTOR NbG system, with the following guidelines: Need - Items you can use on your current character. Greed - for companions, vanity, pulling a mod out of an off class item, etc. Some runs may have extra rules, posted in the run description. Top ^
