Charter:
Charter Description

1. Type:
Horde/Alliance? Also, is this a Guild Based Charter? (Y/N) If so, please provide the Guild Name and the Guild Leader’s name.
Alliance! Yes, this will mostly be a guild based charter. Guild name is " Dealdly Panda Squad" (For some reason when Blizzard created the guild name, they put a space in front of the first word, lol). Guild Leader is Geoffy.

2. Charter Background/Mission Statement:
Please provide a description of your Charter’s mission in this organization. This short description should provide raiders an idea of what your goals are and how you intend to achieve them. You may also include some history behind the charter and its name here. All of our raid leads have been playing WoW for quite some time now, we just got some other friends into it, and have started raiding ICC and ToC. We are looking to start a charter on LO for a couple reasons, one being an easier loot system to keep track of, the other for being able to fill our raids on off days, and hopefully growing into a 25 man raid at some point. As far as our goals go, we'll be focusing on ICC 10 mans at first, clearing that place as it finishes coming out, and then also working on 10 man ToGC for some extra gear. Deadly Panda Squad, on Silver Hand, is a group of friends that live in the Northern Colorado area. We all know each other in real life and enjoy having fun while playing this very addictive video game, and at the same time, progressing through content.

3. Attitude and Personality
Please provide raiders a short statement of the attitude, level of dedication and personality of the raid itself, as well as any rules about language or behavior. As mentioned above, we're a group of friends that all know each other, we like to have fun while raiding and playing the game, and at the same time progressing through content. We like to keep the vent chat at a PG-13 ish level, a few of us have children in rooms where our computers are. We don't mind hearing any feedback or suggestions during a raid, if you think it'll help make or break it.

Slotting Guidelines

1. Raid Makeup
Describe your ideal raid makeup (by role). Include how you prefer to split groups or designate certain duties. (Example: 25-man: 4 tanks, 7 healers, 8 ranged dps, 6 melee dps) We'd plan on doing 10 man content, and we usually run with 2x tanks, 2-3 healers (depending on the fight), and then 5-6 dps. We try to mix up the class selection as to benefit from the most buffs possible.

2. Slotting
a) Preferences: Who has slotting preference? (regulars, guild members, new people, other groups?) Guild members and regulars would have a slotting preference in our charter.
b) Requirements: What do you want to see in slotted raiders? (gear level, experience, flasks, consumables, etc.) The top thing I look for in a raider is experience and knowledge of the game, ex: move out of fires, don't dps the mob in the face in case of cleaves, if you are attacking a dragon you probably want to be on his side, making sure they have a decent rotation for whatever job they are doing. Gear level isn't too important to me, I prefer to bring the player, rather than the character, I can discuss this a lot further, but I don't want to get into Gear Scores, lol. I would also expect them to bring flasks and any other consumables they may need, other than a fish feast.

Raid-time Information

1. Standby and raid start info
a) Invites start at: How early do you expect raiders to be online? 15 minutes before any scheduled raid.
b) Standbys are pulled in at: At what point will you begin replacing raiders with standbys? 5 minutes after raid starts, unless I hear other wise.
c) Standbys should check in by: How do you expect raiders to check in? (private whisper, lostandby channel, other channel?) Either whispers to raid leaders or the LO channel.
d) Standbys will be notified by: How will you notify standby raiders that all slots are now taken? Raid leaders will whisper them back if/when the raid is full, I will announce in the LO channel if the raid is full or not.
e) Other: Any other info regarding raid start/first pull you would like to provide to raiders? If you have signed up and can't make a raid, please send me an in game mail (Geoffy/Xhorty) and shoot me a message on the LO website.

2. What in-game chat channels should raiders join for their raid designations? We'll mostly just be using ventrilo and the raid chat channel for any details on the raids.
Please either include these names, or outline how you will get these channels to the appropriate raiders prior to raid.

3. What Voice Server/Channel should raiders join?
Examples: The free LO Server and charter channel, a custom guild Vent server/channel, etc. If Custom Server, provide the type (so raiders can have proper programs installed) and how you will get the raiders the appropriate information prior to raid, or simply include it directly here. We will be using our own ventrilo server. We'll be linking this information inside the raids, prior to start times.

4. How is Charter Discretion loot handled?
Charters have a lot of leeway to handle certain categories of items, as described in the LOP document. Charter discretion items can be DE'ed, greeded, given away to people of the charter's choosing, banked, Auctioned... all manner of things.
We'll be setting a loot master, to rare items or higher, any greens/whites/grays that drop, are free to whoever picks them up. What we do with epics and BoE loot is mentioned below.

Please use this space to describe how you will handle the following. Note: Only items that will actually drop in instances you are going to be running need to be listed.

a) BOE epics that are not won in the bidding process: (example: greed at end of raid). These will be given to the charter leads during the raid, and will either be sold for crafting mats for flasks/fish feasts/etc. or if there is someone else that raids with us often that could use it, it would go to them.
b) Raid-only patterns that are not won in the bidding process: (example: greed at end of raid) If no one wants the patterns that drop, we will save them for the end of the raid, and greed roll on them should anyone want them, otherwise we will keep them for other potential raid members and they will be handed out by the raid leads.
c) Green and blue BOE drops: (example: greed at end of raid) We will roll greed at the end of the raid, for those people that didn't receive loot during it.
d) Mining and Herbalism nodes: (example: first come, first served) We'll be doing /roll on any nodes that can be gathered, provided the given character can use them. Try to keep it to one node per person, per raid.
e) Crafting materials such as Runed and Crusader Orbs, and non-gear epics such as Epic Gems: (example: greed at end of raid) These will go to our charter leads for safe keeping, and we will hand them out to our regular raiders once we have enough to get something crafted. ( ie. 4x Crusader Orbs )
f) Any/all other Charter Discretion loots not specifically described above: (though this list should be accurate as of 8/15/09) Any other items will be discussed with leaders and handed out in a fair manner.
