Cloth: Not just for Paladins |
Saethir mentioned this a little while ago, but it seems even more useful now with Swiftmend, and since we try and keep Faerie Fire up to help out our stabby friends. http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons-3183-1-countmoon-druid-edition.html Shows a countdown on all HoT and DoT / debuff spells you apply (and sorts the list too from shortest to longest time remaining I think). You can click on the display to select the target (and it adds an option to automatically cast Swiftmend when you shift select a target). I find it pretty much impossible to mentally time every Rejuv I cast, so I find this really helpful. --

enemy cast bar has generally been working for me to keep track of the hots, at least in terms of a bar showing how long the spell has until it finishes. But it would be interesting to see for the faerie fire. However, it has the same duration as serpent sting yes? Which is just slightly longer than the cooldown of two arcane shots... So I sort of have that internally timed. But I can see this being really useful if you don't want that whole cast bar mod, which has been buggy occasionally (like removing combo points) --

Countmoon is superb, aside from a couple strange out of combat bugs (features?). | |

I find this easier to use out of the box than ECB since it only displays the stuff I am interested in (granted, I think you can tune ECB to be less spammy, but I'm lazy Also, it makes it really easy to select people who have a HoT about to expire, which makes it useful for Swiftmending while spot healing. If you consume a HoT, it also removes it from the counter, which ECB doesn't (didn't?) do. And Sef, I think sometimes it doesn't display the time remaining correctly while out of combat? I don't *think* I saw any problems while in combat however. --

Yeah, that's the issue I mean! At least it's not just me! In combat it does a great job. I set mine to continue displaying HOT timers until a couple seconds below zero, so that I can just right-click the icon to recast on that target. |

Yeah, I think that it's working as intended - the notes say: To add a delay before removing timers after leaving combat. /countmoon ooc It's an odd feature, but doesn't seem very harmful at least. --

I use that and this: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4455 TTSpellTimer. It's very similar to CountMoon, but works with all classes, all DoTs --
