More DPS than your raid combined! |
Found this on the UI Forums on WoW's site. http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-in...t=290084&s=new&tmp=1 If it's down or whatever, here's the C&P: -- 1.9 broke the various versions of the Wardrobe mod, the fix for all of them is the same. Edit the Wardrobe_Item.lua file, and update the following functions: Replace Wardrobe_GetItemNameAtInventorySlotNumber with:
- Replace Wardrobe_GetItemNameInBagSlot with:
Hope it works! |

I loved Wardrobe. No, really, I LOVED it. Then 1.9 broke it. And some people suggested ItemRack as an alternative. I downloaded it. And love it. Now I like Wardrobe. I LOVE ItemRack. Check it out. I highly recommend it for people who have various sets that they swap regularly. |

Yeah, I saw a different fix for Wardrobe, but I still needed to re-program my different sets of clothing. Once re-set, it worked. I was also referred to ItemRack, but haven't tried it myself. I'll definitely give it a try though. --

ItemRack has all of the functionality of Wardrobe plus a few little extras like being able to "queue" your equipment change for when you come out of combat. The added plus is that you also don't need Chronos or Sea with it You do have to set up all your sets again, but it seems you have to do that again anyway? I find the set creating interface a bit better than Wardrobe once you figure it out. I am a switcher! <3 ItemRack |

Queuing is nice..I got spoiled with that by using Trinket Menu, which would queue a trinket change if I was in combat. Does Item Rack have settings for Riding gear? That's one of my favorite things about the later versions of Wardrobe. --

I just set up my armor sets using ItemRack, must say, it's pretty nice once you get them set up. /deletes Wardrobe |

Damnit, I'm waiting for the mod sites to come back up, so I can get more info and download it Wardrobe was the first ever mod I installed, and fell in love with it before it had a button for the drop down menu. To see other Wardrobe users convert so quickly, I must see this program --

Yup, it also has the ability to add new "on event" switches, although I have not really looked into how to make those yet. |

Just a heads up there is a new version of Wardrobe up (Wardrobe 1.9) on Curse gaming its not Cosmos or Sea Dependent AND there is a seprate TitanBar Plugin for it as well. Its currently not up (as of 3:17pm 01/04/2005) but should be up soon as it appears to be just waiting on Admin Approval at Curse. -Vurakan --

So, I grabbed Itemrack last night, looks pretty nice. I like the set selection process, although I was kinda confused until I realized how it worked. My only request would be that I would love to see the minimap button activate on mouse over, instead of me clicking to get my sets listed. This is relatively minor though, and as much as I love Wardrobe, Itemrack seems to have a little more to it. I played with some of the events, and it seems like it's pretty straight forward, as far as using the pre-made events. I'm going to try and see if i can make an In-Town event, where I can change to mu casual clothes automatically when I am in a rest state. I need to see how the Plaguelands events are controlled first. if I figure something workable out, I'll post it here. --

OK...for ItemRack I have tested this, and it works, and will switch to the chosen outfit when you enter the city itself, and change back when you leave. I've tested it with IF and SW, but not Darnassus, but there is no reason it shouldn't work. You could also add areas my booty bay, and gadgetzan, but I didn't just in case, since my warrior is permaflagged To enable Autoswitch to Casual Clothes in the 3 major Alliance Cities (Darn,SW and IF)... Just realized that if I camp in town, ItemRack will not remember my previous outfit when i log in next time, and I'll *gasp* need to change it back to my grinding gear manually. No biggie

Itemrack is far snazzier than Wardrobe, but I find the actual operation of Wardrobe to be a bit more streamlined for changing outfits. There's also some bugs with Itemrack forgetting to take an item off - sometimes it tries to put something into the slot that doesn't belong. Not sure how that works. Has anyone found a mod that will sort bags by name? If Itemrack did that, I'd switch. -Crissa |
