I would be concerned about a potential violation of the Terms of Service with this mod. If a spell can be cast based upon a tell received from another player without human input from the caster, then it is a violation of ToS. User beware. I certainly wouldn't want to be caught with this mod if we were to consent to having the GM observer on a raid.

From what I understand, the tell you send just puts your name in a "queue" with the target player, the player still has to hit a button to process the requets in the queue.

That is correct. It is not a bot.

I was actually in a Baron raid with a Druid who had this. It struck me as being useful for occasional curses like cleanse poison, but it came off as kind of pretentious when the druid in question wouldn't even bother giving MoW buffs, and made us all send him the /wc whispers.

I haven't played with it with my own characters, does it auto-adapt to whatever spells each class has? I especially see this as beeing beneficial with paladins and their buffs, since different people want different things, and sometimes want different buffs for different fight even.

Ivymoon has this mod. If you /w her with "fort", "fortitude", "shadow", "spirit", "shield" or so forth, I still have to hit the CAST button to cast whatever is in the queue. That way 1. It's not botting, and 2. I can monitor when my mana is usable for buffing (no rebuffing people while in combat).

The problem with it is that it's useless unless OTHER people know to use it. In my experience almost NO ONE knows about it, and so /w's you for a buff unless you really emphasise it's existence in advance of the raid.

It's a nice mod to take care of individual spot buffs after somebody dies or something like that, but it gets annoying when somebody refuses to cast GotW or PoF and insists that everybody does it that way even for the main buffs.

Just a note: Whispercast doesn't use the 1 hr buffs, only K-mart buffs.
