With ST's coming to an end very soon, I am moving my (previously) BR only ZG enchant runs to this forum. Without further ado, Here's the rules! Welcome to the signup and roster thread for Kavanagh's Zul'Gurub Enchant Run (KZGER), or Westerners, as we're now calling it.  Where? Zul'Gurub! When? Tuesdays at 6:30pm server time and if the raid timer permits, one other day during the week. This weeks date: THURSDAY, January 11th What? Raids will be specifically for enchants, thus we will be going straight to Jin'Do, then to Bloodlord. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. When that objective has been met, the raid will be polled to do the normal clear of ZG. I will be the raid lead, and Tits will be my co-lead (in whatever form she chooses for that night). We will be using a priority system for the idols: 1. Mains before alts: This run is designed to assist mains with their primary raiding jobs. 2. A "counter" priority system: Explained below. 3. Idols count as equipables: This is to keep things fair, so that gear can be more widely distributed amongst those attending. 4. Idol priority system: Tits will be keeping an excel spreadsheet (which will be posted in the signup/roster thread), tracking the people who need idols, and everyone present who does not win an idol (including alts). The reason alts will be receiving a counter is so that if all mains pass, alts who have been assisting with these runs more then other alts have the priority they've earned. There are additional rules for alts gaining priority on idols, which will be explained below. Counters/Priority System Explained: For every Westerners run you attend, you get a counter on your name. Each adds 100 to your rolls when rolling on idols. For example: Kavanagh has been to five Westerners runs, and Tits has been to 3. An idol drops. Thraner rolls a /random 1-300, and Kavanagh rolls a /random 1-500. When one of them wins, they lose all their counters, and they go back to rolling /random 100. Alts will be handled in an identical fashion once all mains pass/do not need the enchants. Note: While this system is very similar to the Dragonslayer's Club priority rules, this system does not allow for partial rolls of your priority. You must roll with your full priority on all idol rolls. Kavanagh's Alt Idol Priority System: This system is designed to reward alts who have greatly assisted the Westerners runs, but still retain a "majority priority" for mains. 1. Alt contributions are tracked in the priority spreadsheet, and when they reach three tokens, they will gain priority equal to mains for idols. 2. When an alt uses their priority and wins an idol, they will lose all their tokens, just like a main. However, they must now "re-earn" their three tokens in order to gain equal priority to mains again. 3. When an alt gains equal priority, they roll all their tokens, just like a main would. General Loot Rules 1. As per normal loot rules, players will be allowed one equipable each. 2. Idols, blues, epics, and Zandalar armor pieces all count as equipables. Since we will generally only be doing a two boss clear, this keeps the loot distribution a little more spread out. 3. Idols will be rolled for first, as they count towards being equipable. In the event we progress further then Jin'Do and Bloodlord, we will implement the following rule for bijous: 1. 15 bijous will be spread out as equally as possible amongst mains who have the appropriate reputation (exalted) with the Zandalar and want the shoulder enchant. Note: Depending on the amount of bijous that the raid has found, the raid leader will make a judgement call on whether or not to implement the "15 bijou rule". Greed is important to, and people who participate in the raid need to be rewarded. Final Note: Remember, Be Cool(TM). Always keep in mind that we're all teammates, and we should treat each other fairly and with respect. While these raids are primarily geared towards getting raid mains their valuable enchants, alts are both valuable additions to the raid AND they contain real people behind them. If you ever have a problem with the way the raid is being run, or any of the rules, or simply have observations or suggestions about how to improve these raids, let me or Thraner know. I didn't just create these raids so I could get my enchants (although that's certainly a nice side effect of running them!), I did this to help out all of my fellow LO members. Whatever I can do to improve YOUR experience in my raids, I will try and do. --

This week we'll be testing out Bleucheese's new slotting system! Woo! So things will be slotted a bit differently. Please sign up in both his slotting program, as well as post in this thread EDIT3: Ok, lets give this a shot! Please sign up both in this thread, and via the slotting system. Go to this page to begin the process. Go to the raid calendar to check out the available raids. Click on the raids you want to go on and sign up! Don't forget to add your characters to the system. -----SLOTTING IS BY ROLE, NOT BY CLASS!----- Roles will be slotted on a FCFS (First Come, First Serve) basis! Tanks (minimum 1 druid, 1-2 warriors, 1-2 paladins) Healing (minimum 2 priests and druids, minimum 1 paladin) DPS (minimum of 2 rogues and hunters, 0-1 warrior) Specialty DPS (minimum 2 mages and warlocks, 0-2 priests) Post your name, role, and TS capabilities (listen and/or talk), and if you are an alt/main Standby's will be slotted into available slots on the day prior to raid. Mildelyil Alt of Iouna Tank (pet tank, my pet will stealz your agro) DPS. I truly would like to see the pet tank, as long as its not snap agro the pet can do it, plus his hunter can cleanse him of anything. --

Updated to here. Iouna, added Mildelyil as a standby hunter, since we have two already. If you want to come on Iouna, let me know, I can put you in there as well. Please check out the roster post, I have added a link to the new slotting program. Please try and use that in addition to manually posting.
