Hmm i wonder if this will affect Treants? From the text it should but blizz might have intended it to only affect permanent pets and not short duration ones like treants http://www.wowhead.com/?patchnotes=3.2-ptr quote:

Hmm, that's an interesting question. Although resil and spell pen wouldn't be much use in raiding. Resil for pvp maybe. The hit chance modifier could potentially be useful as the trees seem to miss quite often. Although I have no idea how their hit chance is calculated since they have no weapon skill or expertise to factor, at least that I know of. | |
