Now that more and more of us are reaching 80, I was thinking maybe we should try to throw together some sort of 10-man raid for Thursday or Friday evening. I doubt we'll have perfect raid balance, but I'm sure we'll manage to have fun. Let me know your thoughts and if you might be interested.

Sowien and I are interested; but as we're busy the next couple days we probably won't hit 80 till Friday or Saturday. That being said, I'm looking at hosting a raid on Sunday morning in Naxx to run in and get roflstomped. Oh, and Bambina is the best thing in Wrath. Seriously. --

Just hit 80 last night, would love to see some of the new stuff. It's either that, level an alt, or try to find a group for an 80 instance out of a small pool of players.

Well, I've been asked to run in a semi-pug by my old guild leader for Naxx tonight, so I guess I'll be locked out until next Tuesday. Hopefully, by then, we'll have enough LO interest to get something going. In the mean time, I am running Heroics every chance I get so if you see me on and need a healer for ANY heroic, send me a tell!!

I'm chuggin along, I keep flippin over to the Paladin every once in a while, otherwise id be closer to 80. I'm aiming 80 on the boomkin by Saturday night, so if I can hit it, you guys can count me in ^.^

Though it's not really 'unofficial' as it is on official run, there was some interest expressed here so... Easterners is going to give Naxx a try on Sunday. We'll be undergeared and die a lot, but it should be fun! :P --

How'd this go? Anyone on the run who did the old Naxx and the new Naxx and can give a quick comparison? Particularly curious about how Razuvious is as a 10-man encounter. MCs still required?

I think the 10 man version has lil MC machines so that any raid members can do MC duty and 2 priests aren't required. Pretty sure the 25 man requires priests but I haven't seen it in person. --

Have 2 people do the MC and have one tank pick up any occasional understudies. Best thing for the 2 MC's is have understudy 1 hit shield wall, taunt and full out attack. As soon as the shield wall is about 5 secs of faiding have Understudy 2 shield wall up, hit taunt & attack. keep on swapping the tanking like this. We made a macro to whisper eachother back and forth so we knew when to take over. One thing to keep in mind. The MC has a 2 minute duration. What we found to be helpfull. As soon as Understudy 1 is done tanking halfway/3/4way to release the MC and click the MC crystal again straight away. This will keep you from getting into tight spots with the 2 minute duration. In order to release. Just hit an action on your regular bars to bloodrage, feign death, autoattack, etc. By performing an action of your own character/class will release the MC. As for Anub'Rhekan. The old kite strategy didn't really work for us (my fault yeah i know :p). We ended up taking him around where he stands at the beginning of the fight and just heal through his locus swarms. Any Crypt guards that spawned were taunted away to the old position and killed asap. Offtank & mage stayed with corpse of the crypt guard to pick up the corpse scarabs that occasionally spawned. |
