Few Against The Many Charter Lead |
For those that wish to get their Hand of Adal titles FAtM will be hosting two raids to try to help those that want to get their quests. The raids will be Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7 pm server. These will be dependant on the number of signups we get. If we do not get enough signups that are capable for these raids, they will not happen. So please, signup if you want to go. We will most likely need others to fill in the edges, so even if you don't need the quests, feel free to sign up. The goals are to get Fathomlord, A'lar and Rage Winterchill down. We will start in SSC, kill Lurker and Fathomlord. Then head to TK for A'lar and if there is time go onto Hyjal for Rage Winterchill. Please make sure if you signup that you will not be locked out of any of these three. If you will be locked out, please PM me. I might be able to coordinate a FEW people here and there. This will be a one night thing, since 2.0 should be coming out on Monday. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to respond here or PM me. Taki --

Are you planning on running by Leo like skip him? (Is it possible? Never tried) I had the impression that you would pull him if you tried.

All the bosses in SSC can be done independantly. If you skip one, he stays skipped. I have tried it from both directions. You do not need to pull either Morogrim or Leo.

Arn't the vials from Vashj and Kael needed before Rage? I've gotten the title twice now and can't for the life of me remember all the steps. --

Vials are separate. BT attunement quest is: FLK then turn in, then A'lar, then turn in, then Rage, then turn and do a series of quests and boom.

Yep. I believe though for the title, you need the ring from the Vial quest and the BT attunement questline completed (Medallion of Karabor). Apo's got the ring but needs the SSC/TK/Hyjal part of the BT questline. Wind's got the Medallion but needs Vashj dead for her ring. >.< --

Well, we are doing Vashj again on Sunday with hopes of getting her down for the second time. The following Sunday, we are going to try Kael. With any luck, we'll get him down. Mind you, this is all speculative. We've downed Vashj before, but not Kael. We did have good progress the first couple of weeks we attempted him though, so I'm hopeful. Overall, this all might be for moot, but we thought we would give people the opportunity to try. --

Yar. Most of FatM's Kael attempts have been for a short time after dropping the other three bosses, and I fondly remember getting past phase 2 cleanly after a very short time. I'd bet real money that with a couple of targeted four-hour sessions you'd be able to take him down. You have the powah. --

Is either the Wednesday or Thursday raid going to lead into the Sunday Kael attempts, or any thought on having either of them lead into a Vashj/Kael series of attempts? (Trying to see if there's any way for somebody not started on the title quests at all yet to thread the needle to get it all done in this last week - so far, doesn't seem promising.) --
