Hello all. There are a few new people who transferred to SH because we saw the success of LO and wanted to give it a shot. Raided into BT (stopped at Illidan), got totally burned out on it and were looking for some more laid back structures. Poof, there is an article in wowinsider and we thought it sounded perfect. No mandatory 5-6 nights a week for 5 hours a night. Anyway, wanted to say high and that we look forward to raiding with you guys. If any of the charter leads would like to do some heroics or work up some other trials to get to know us, /t Bwildered or Goortak or Obmgeg.

Bwildered - Pally tank 16k health unbuffed, 469 spelldamage; healing 1850 30% crit; ret (lol) about 850 dps normally.
Goortak - Druid healer 2k heals, tanking 48% dodge unbuffed with 17k health unbuffed
Obmeg - warrior fury. pulls about 1k dps normally.

Hi there :)

Feel free to sign up for some raids, that is a good way to get to know folks. And yeah, not raiding 5 nights a week is actually very likely to make you enjoy the game more...

Welcome to LO : )

eek, that kind of required raid time you should be asking if they do 401(k) matching or provide dental.

Welcome to LO, jump on in and sign up for some stuff. Best approach is probably to sign up with some charters for their farm nights so they can get a look at you before going to progression runs.

It may also be worthwhile to check out the /leftovers channel when in game.

It's not for everyone and there is a lot of joking around in there, but a number of people in the community use it for heroics & unofficial raid recruiting. A sort of virtual tavern common room if you will.

Welcome aboard :D

Read "unofficial raid recruiting" as in 10 mans or Olde World content only. Recruiting for TBC 25 mans will get you a smack upside the head. :D
