Call me unimpressed by the new "awesome" end of the BM talent tree.... I mean yeah, I love to have unique pets, and I'll probably take the talent just for that, but can I get a damage boost? A new cool ability? Dual wielding pistols while my pet dances the fandango over the corpse of my enemy? Meh. I hope they add something to that. --

Honestly I hope this brings all the talent trees in line as far as Raid dps goes. BM has been on top of the DPS meters, well atleast thats what most folks say ;) since BC hunter mechanics got figured out. It would be nice to have more than one Raid spec. --

Anyone else notice that, from the top all the way down to 40, there's practically no changes in Beast Mastery? Meanwhile, Surv and Marks get a heavy overhaul. Yeah. Can you say "they got BM exactly right"? EDIT: Also, for those of you lamenting the 51-point BM talent. Please note the extra 5 Skill Points you get. Since this will be using the new Pet Talent trees, this is pretty darned huge. A level 80 pet is going to have 16 Talent points to spend... unless you're 51-BM, at which point it would appear you have 21. And looking at Petopia, some of the DPS tree talents look fair to make a pet with that tree into a buzzsaw of destruction, especially with 21 points to spend. --

Yeah think they realized that BM was just about right and the other two, especially Survival needed an overhaul. I am really happy with the changes to the SV tree but I feel like a Prot Pally, in the fact that I don't have enough points to put stuff into all the things I want, too many goodies :) Re: BM 51pt talent, yeah I believe that most folks are looking at the pet talent points being the main reason to getting it, because I doubt Blizz is going to give BM hunters massively overpowerful exotic pets. Refining my SV build, any comments or questions?
