I'm looking forward to seeing these talents when I get off work tonight. Interesting, my BV is somewhere around 450 right now (or was when I was prot), so at 80 I'll probably be able to "shield slam" for 1.5k or more.

And just as I was pondering going back to Ret... Aghg! Must review this stuff indepth. Meh, looks like it'll behove me to stay Holy... well endgame wise again anyway. Gota go ret to level and get those quests and moolah tho...bleh. --

I called it too! Everytime some paladin talked about wanting a HoT I said "Just watch they will do something crazy like give us one for the 51 point holy talent or something in wrath". There it is too! rofl

If a holy pally now has a 40% crit rate for about 9.6k on a Holy Light. That would turn into a 45% crit rate and a 5760 HOT. --

It sounds like it would effectively work like Regrowth for druids except only on crits. I've not seen AoE heals stack, but HOT's currently definitely do. --

Man forget all your HoTs... every 10 seconds I can divine storm and heal my group! Plus Swift Retribution for the entire raid? Sure the Boomkin makes you crit more... but I can make you DPS faster! Judgement of the Wise?! Holy Hannah, I need to stop reading or I'll explode.

If it's a proper HoT, like Regrowth, it won't stack with itself, it will refresh itself. It's certainly not impossible that it will function like Ignite and will continuously stack, but it's highly unlikely for a HoT. Given that Holy paladins are tossing out 1.5 or 2 second heals with 30+ critrates, I don't think the holy/ret spec will be viable. | |

I read on maintankadin that Beacon of Light will act like an AoE and a HoT. The added benefit is threat. Cast it on your MT or OT if extra threat is needed and all the group healing goes to the target (MT/OT) not the caster (healer).

Oh damn. Okay, first. Beacon of Light = Tranquility + Circle of Healing. SCHWING! Second. 30% of Stam as Spellpower is overkill. I love it, I drool for it, I expect a damned nerf. Third. I really need to sit down and plan my respec and levelling. But at least finally they put Spiritual Focus, Healing Light, and Illumination back into range for a 10/xx/xx-type build. Fourth. In case folks missed it in the shammy section, they mention that Tank buffs and DPS threat reductions are the reason why BoSalv and Tranquil Air totems are being removed. It looks like the intent is to effectively make them "always there" effects. Same with Blessing of Light; the buff it gives has been rolled into the base spells. Fifth. SHIELD SLAM MOTHERFRACKER! DO YOU USE IT! :) --
