Hello, I will just ask How the other Tankadins out there handle his Aggro wipe? I recently got whooped again... (4th time) And in the end it took a warrior as a tank to down him... So any how do you guys peel him back? --

Seal of Vengeance. Have your group clump up so that proximity aggro stays static.

Taunting usually works for me, as does Avengers Shield.

You have your dps hold fire a second till you have him firmly. It shouldn't take long at all...matter of seconds really.

I'd also add that I tank him on one side of the doorway to his room - when he ports to AOE, group on the opposite side of the wall, with you ready to pick him up as he comes into the room. You can even consecrate in the doorway, be ready to judge when he comes in, and ask Ark mentioned DoT ticks can help there too.

Most likely he will be heading to the healer after an arcane explosion, so plan on being between them... and make sure your dps recognize whats going on so you aren't second on threat, because then you're going to eat the sheep. --

Thanks for the advice guys, I really appreciate it. Next time I get enough courage to go down there again (and if anyone will have me) I shall do them. I see what my problems were: SoV should be kept up, I was using SoR to pull him back. My Taunt was on CD. My Captain America move is taking too long, as soon as it leaves my hands my healer is dead. About the threat levels I was only sheeped once. The main problem I see now was positioning. Anywho, Thanks for all the Ideas and tips XD --

Different tools for different jobs =P That said, I don't use SoV on Ikiss, I just tell the group to stay on my head after an explosion, taunt/JoR him AFTER the polymorph, and things are fine. The biggest trick is waiting until after the poly, otherwise you taunt off.... a sheep. Woot? I've always fought him by a pillar, but the door works, too. --

You only use SoV on a fight where you'll be in contact with the mob for a prolonged period of time. I would definitely not recommend it for Ikiss.

Or, a fight with constant aggro drops where periodic damage is perfect for re-establishing threat. When someone makes a post asking about how to deal with aggro drops, I think the appropriate answer is appropriate. |

Hey, I wasn't telling him not to use it. I think I've appropriately expressed my distaste for SoV's unreliability on other occassions, so I just wanted to point out again how much I hate that nearly-worthless-way-crappier-then-SoB-piece-of-crap-seal. :) Use it if you want to! I don't. :) --

Like Tora said, it's good for prolonged fights where you have constant contact with the boss, because it can be so wishy-washy... Ikiss sucks :P I usually use SoR, and shield/judge him right off the bat after he's done doing his thing. And taunt, of course, if it's up. --
