Warrior: * Wanted to make the class feel more like Warcraft III -- put the Bladestorm Shockwave in, and tweaked Arms and Protection. * Shockwave will help with Prot damage problem * Titan's Grip is confirmed -- dual wielding 2h weapons. And this one, which warms my Raiding Prot specced heart: Q: Any plans to be able to switch between Talent specs easier? A: We are working on a plan to give players access to two Talent specs. More details in the future." --

See, I don't see the Shockwave helping overly much with prot damage/threat on multiple targets. Or if it does, I don't see how it can help overly much on your average trash pulls with a 45 second c/d. Honestly I think I might prefer it if it DIDN'T stun. How are you supposed to grab early aggro on multiple targets using this, if using it immediately cuts off your rage-generation? Meh. I'm praying the new "whirlwind" style ability is confirmed and usable in prot. If not, I'm praying that TC damage scaling with AP is true. Please, please, please let this be true! --

Okay. |
Shockwave has unlimited targets, has a 20 sec CD, costs 12 rage with focused rage, and has high innate threat in addition to its damage. Doesn't sound bad to me. For tanking that is, since what's the point of it for DPS if we'll have two specs to switch between? Bladestorm on the other hand (if that's what you meant by the new WW) is at the very bottom of arms, will do crappy damage with a 1H/shield, appears to have no innate threat, has a 1.5 min CD, costs 25 rage, and you can't use any other abilities while it's active. Not particularly suitable for tanking. And yeah, apparently TC's damage will be increased by AP. At least the new ranks. There's also a new ability called bloodbath that's an AoE DD and DoT, but it only affects 5 targets. |

Bloodbath is the one I was thinking of. 5 targets or no, the DoT component helps to keep building threat even while stunned on multiple targets, which is something warriors have been lacking for a looong time. Where are you seeing the 20 second c/d on Shockwave? That seems really generous given that it also is supposed to have a 4-5 second stun. --

Okay. |
http://wotlkwiki.info/index.php/Warrior As for bloodbath...eh, seems like more of a DPS ability. Its description doesn't indicate innate threat, and it'll probably only deal slightly more damage than talented TC. |
