Well from what I can tell I think there will be a large amount of possibility in arcane, depends on how they scale gear a bit (ie if we get any spirit this time around). But I would love to get Netherwind proc's back.

I'll probably go back to demonology for leveling. But I'm not particularly happy about the idea of Soul Link being nerfed again if these talent trees are correct. To 15%! :( I hope that doesn't turn out to be the case.. Affliction, from this tree, has some great new pvp tricks.. |

I might try to work Icy Veins back in for my lvl 80 build but otherwise I'll stick with full arcane. The new talents in frost and arcane are pretty nice, although I am luke-warm about the deep fire ones. | |

I'm unsure of how the Shadow Priest nerf will play out in WLK. I'm pretty certain 11/47/3 will be the leveling spec of choice for firemages, but we'll have to see if we can switch back to 2/58/11 Icy Veins with mana changes -- Burnout and the Shadow Priest nerf on one side, spirit buff on the other.. As for my warlock, I'll head straight up to 51/0/10 and then expand into an eventual 52/0/19. I'm wary of raid Destro's power at the moment, so hopefully Affliction's newer scaling power can keep it competitive. At the very least, it'll be useful for leveling and questing and just fine for instancing. |
