Now that you have some people playing AOC on the same server, Maybe you can get the site admin to make a copy of this site on aoc.leftoversraiding.org and modify it a little to support the AOC game. Then you would be able to schedule raids and have your own AOC forums an stuff :-) | |

The thought had occurred to me but... We haven't survived past the first month yet. Need to see how many of us stick around after the first 30 days and we have to start paying. We don't have any 80s yet, much less enough of them to think about raiding. I think it's even early to ask for our own forum, much less code customization, which would require some investment of time. After all we only have 2 semi-active threads going at the moment. --

Welp.... I gave in, went and bought a copy at lunch. Ill be installing and running the update. Not sure how long that will take. And I am going to go see Son of Rambo today ^.^ But ill hopefully be on tonight, and see if I cant look one of you guys up.. I have about 4 classes I am debating on being right now. --

Kaydinn - Necromancer Katilynn - Guardian. Anyone want to explain why my necro seems to be able to take on fights better then my guard... I kept getting my face pwnd last night when i switch over to try a guard... Although, I still haven't been able to find a damn shield.... My thoughts, its a beautiful game, i have it cranked to max settings and its absolutely beautiful... Sometimes I just sit there any look around at everything. Combat = I feel like I should be using a game pad. But I'm liking the lack of an auto attack. Quests are quite fun so far, but I heard they fall off at later levels. I hate that I cant just press / like I am so used to, and have to press enter first. I'm still getting comfortable with the whole game, So we will see how it goes :) --

I rolled a Bear Shaman last night and kept getting the crap kicked out of me. 2 even level mobs at once was certain death (L8 in the volcano). Granted, I got less than crap for drops, but it was very frustrating. I then made a guardian and mowed down those same mobs at the same level. However, he was getting pretty good drops along the way. Maybe that was the difference? So my Wiccana roster update: Alizeah - Bare Shaman Cranius - Bald Guardian --

Yeah, I had really good drops on my necro and crap drops for my Gaurd, Havent replace any armor really. Interesting thoughts, Maybe thats what is making such a big differance. Ill get to check it out more today so I look at the reasoning a little more in depth. Now that I have all weekend. --

Actually gear has very little impact in that game. Also Eil you might have missed the shield cause it's all the way at the bottom on the armorsmith. A shield will make a difference for you. Playing my guardian I literally couldn't die unless I got crazy.;) When I was in my 30s I could easily take on 3 or 4 same level mobs with no problem. There's a reason bear shamans are rare Wis. From what I understand they are hard to start till they get around 15-20 and too the other two healers actually preform much better than them as far as soloing etc etc. Or rather that's what every single person I've heard talk on the subject has said. Given that I've leveled a PoM to 38 I'll likely have a better idea myself once I roll my BS.=) --
