O.o |
I use X-Perl Unit Frame's Focus frame for my sheep, which I monitor to see if it's still a sheep, and my own debuffs show up as large icons, with a cooldown. That plus Chronometer (or any other cast bar timer) shows how long before it should break. xperl: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/3416/ chronometer: http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Chronometer http://files.wowace.com/Chronometer/ |

YOU'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME FRUIT VENDOR! |
Clique's... a bit heavy for simply monitoring sheep and resheeping as necessary. Cryolysis2 handles sheep announces and the like, but if you're just looking for a timer, any class timer such as Chronometer or ClassTimers should do the trick. Similarly, you can use a macro to set focus on first keypress, sheep on second, and resheep thereafter until the mob's dead and/or you clear your focus. |

I actually use the priest shackle macro, with Shackle Undead replaced by your favorite Polymorph spell: quote: Originally posted by http://www.wowwiki.com/Moroes: /clearfocus [modifier:shift] [target=focus, dead] [target=focus, noexists] /focus [target=focus, noexists] /script SetRaidTarget("focus", 1) /cast [target=focus] Shackle Undead No mess no fuss, can set focus by clicking the macro with your sheep mob targetted when out of range, or focus will set when you 1st cast on your target. You could of course combine this with any number of addons that track focus targets, debuffs, etc. This is my basic CC macro for my priest, mage, and warlock (for banishes or fears, mostly, although you could use the pet ability for seduce). TIP: Arcane mages can add a ctrl-modifier to include Presence of Mind for instant resheepage. |

Well clique also helps on a number of other abilities as well not just sheeping. --

As usual, Kyle's got the right of it. I use almost exactly the same setup. ('course, it helps that both are included in MirageUI) |

Control Freak rocks as a standalone mod for this purpose. | |

I use a mod called Focus Frame specifically for this purpose. When you have a focus target, it pops up a window just like your target window. You can set focus on a poly target, and see their cas t bars, buffs/debuffs (including polymorph) and the time left on them, and so much more. It really is nice. -F |

I even use one on my warrior to "cast" shouts. For Kee's sheep, I make a focus and that way I can just click on their portrait to resheep without losing my current target. No need for a macro, which I'm not good at remembering what those are on my screen. |
