there was a time not long ago when i thought the idea of end game raiding was absurd, and that kara was about the ceiling of my potential. well last week i got my first piece of T5, which got me thinking: maybe hyjal isnt an imaginary place where the gods roam, but is instead a very real possibility for my raid future. so i guess to summarize, and i apologize for the ramble, what suggestions would you guys have for an aspiring holy pally looking to get into T6 content? for example: what spell crit should i be shooting for, what +healing should i be shooting for, MP5, resists, etc. any imput would very much apreciated <3 |

Yes! Uther loves me! (not you) |
Hi Candros, Sorry nobody has replied yet. I am prot and have little practical experience to help answer your questions. I do know that healers have little need for resist gear upon entering Hyjal and BT. The PVP trinket Medallion of the Alliance is needed much more than any resist gear coming into these zones. Also, the quests that allow you to get your Medallion of Karabor are great since that will allow you to get a shadow resist neck that will be helpful on some of the encounters in later BT and early Hyjal. As far as + healing numbers and crit - your guess is as good as mine. Maybe some really helpful Holy pally will step in here and help out. ** hint hint ** My suggestion would be to look up some of the SSC raids or Hyjal/BT raids and armory some of the healing pallys there. Good luck! --
The status is NOT quo. The world is a mess and I just need to rule it. http://silverhandwowgeek.blogspot.com/ |

this is it for a winner! |
Pretty much: as much as you can. There's no hard-and-fast rule of YOU MUST BE THIS TALL TO RIDE; just be geared as much as you can. Whether you focus towards mp5 or crit is personal choice and there's gear on both ends to support it. | |

Once you go dwarf... ...you've hit a new low that you can't ever recover from. |

Yeah, but once you go gnome, you never go home! (Might have to do with the fact that you were tied up, might be the fact that they're so cute and cuddly.) |

I raid with ECR so I'm not really an LO guy. Just checking the place out. But as a holy pally you are looking at a minimum of these stats. 25% HOLY crit. 1700+ Healing and atleast 100mp5 while casting. Your mp5 as a paladin while not casting doesn't matter because as a paladin you should always be casting. With those stats you shouldn't have a problem in t6 really. |
