I respecced back feral on Kinzy.

I may love shaman healing, but I just don't enjoy druid healing.

Sorry,

Kinz

I couldn't agree more. This is entertainment. If what you are doing isn't fun, then why are you doing it?

In your case, Yay for shammy healing and kitty dps and bear meat walls or whatever!

If you gave it an honest go and you really didn't like it, why continue to do it?

You were an excellent bearass anyway.

Tempted to go resto at least part time to do some arenas to build up my tanking gear a little bit, and also adding resto to my toolset improves my utility to my raids.

gad I hate arenas though, I don't have the twitch gamer background, I'm old.

Any recommendations for an old bear pondering spending a little time as resto in 2v2 to get 1 or 2 more pieces for my bear set?

If you go resto, you would probably be able to do fairly well with the following classes easiest to more difficult:

1. Warrior
2. Warlock
3. Hunter

Good luck.

My recommendation is to not do it. :)

If you're not going to have fun doing something, why bother? Especially in the game...

I *love* pvp healing on my druid so I keep going at it...

My 2v2 partner is a warrior and we're slowly building up rating and I love it... we have a few problems with specific class-combos, but over all we have lots of fun. BM hunters are good partners, too. Arena spec'ed locks are EVIL with a druid healer.

Just to piss people off another tree and I did a 3v3 with a holy pally. It was a RIOT :P

Hmmm... now that I think about it, if all you want are points and a few piece of gear, I would recommend you join a 5v5 with other people that are in the same boat. You'll get more points and get gear faster. *shrugs* That's all I have for ya, sorry :)

Getting a 5v5 together is actually harder than it used to be, with so many of our guildies consistently on LO raids and with the sunwell dailies and such.

For ferals having head and chest from S3 is a damn good combination for either cat or bear, cat the dps numbers stack up well for anything pre-T6, bear it's a great way to build to crit immunity, 35 resil bonus is yum.

So I'm mainly ever doing arena for PvE purposes, same way I am doing occasional BGs, to get dragonhide wrist or boots or my trinket for MH later.

And shifting over to add the healing end to my skill set is one of those things "I really should get around to doing". Of course that list is always miles long between rep grinds, dailies, and a limited time to play on my part.

My current set is at about 990 +heal with only about 10g spent on about 4 gems, if I doll it up some I should be viable in arena, maybe I'll try running a kara run or two to strengthen my knowledge.

*shrug*
if I wanted just one gearset and just one spec I shouldn't have rolled a druid eh?
