I'm mainly making this post and stickying it as an informational resource for new paladin tanks. The thread in the general forums gave me the idea. As things tend to get pushed down fairly fast there I'm going to toss up some links here. Please feel free to add more and provide any other helpful advice you folks would like here. It also helps explain crushing mitigation which tends to be a fairly common question from new tanks. http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=89402279&sid=1&pageNo=1 Another good resource from the pally forums for finding gear you want to aim for. http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/3738/ There are alot of pally addons out there but this is the one almost universal addon that makes our blessing assignments so much easier. Maintankadin's hardly outdated, and contains all the info from the WoW forum stickies and more. Gestalt hangs around over there, too; there was a big push to update Tankadin 101 recently, after Blizzard stickied it in the WoW forums. Check the Gear section for Uncrushability values, and the addon/Macro section for useful macro scripts, as well as to download Tankadin v0.9, which is a fantastic mod for all aspiring paladin tanks. --

Aye the 101 on maintankain was what I was talking about. It hasn't been updated to the latest patch the sticky however was. Which is why I linked both.;)

May wish to add Tankadin as an addon reference. http://maintankadin.failsafedesign.com/viewtopic.php?t=4659 - Post where the developer is taking feature requests and bug reports http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info8052-Tankadin.html - WoW Interface page Fantastic addon, if for no other reason than it does a translucent and relatively unobtrusive (yet noticeable) screen flash starting at 30 seconds before Righteous Fury fades. Also will warn on RD taunt resist and Avenger's Shield miss and can print to chat window how much damage Ardent Defender mitigated and how many times that mitigation prevented a death. On top of all of that it does Crush mitigation calcs for you as well in a nice neat window. --
