Pretty much everything Glacial said. 41/0/20 is what you do if your PvE. 40/0/21 if your PvP (for NS). There is not room for flexability in the elemental tree. First: Get your LB/CL Crits up to 35-40% as soon as possible. This fuels your mana efficency and gives you a good chunk of damage. From that point on, you want SD while not sacrifcing too much crit. Once you are 35+ Crit on Lightning Bolt (Remember, you get 10% from talents, 3% from totem of wrath, so a base of 22% crit) your stats are pretty much Spell Damage > Haste > Crit > Anything else Once you obtain ~1100 Spell damage (including totem) this switches over to: Haste > SD > Crit > Everything Else. Your highest DPS Rotation is 3LB + 1CL, until you get about 300 Haste, then its 4LB + 1 CL. However, due to the imperfect timing of CL being up and its mana whoring ways.
