There are lots and lots of reasons like these to go affliction :) The Blessing's card, for instance! :D This particular item might cause a shift in the normal curve, but not for long. It's a lot like the Darkmoon cards... they're really nice for a while but at the end of the day its replacable by the cookie cutters :P I can't imagine any of our BT locks or upper end SSC/TK locks switching just for this. It would be really nice for before then, though! EDIT: btw, it works out to about 50-60 extra DPS depending on who's wielding it and what spec and rotation they use. The two class that would get the 50-60 are affliction locks and shadow priests. The extra DPS drops from there depending on class with paladins at the very bottom. Just thought people would like numbers! --

Stop spreading this disinformation! I'm on to you, Tribal! Yeah I've done KZ several times a week since I got my toons to 70 and I've seen it drop all of twice. The 1st time, my mage lost it to a moonkin (who respec'd feral the following week). I mostly use it with the Icon, but I'll be swapping the LC out as soon as I can get a Serpent-Coil Braid. |

Tried the trinket out for fun today in SSC, think I'll stick with Sextant of Unstable Currents. | |
