suggestions. Outside of T4, what are good options for bear/cat pants to upgrade my heavy clefthoof/assassination? --

leather pants from heroic UB I believe. Good for dps. You're going going to upgrade Clefthoof outside of T4 unless you get S3. | |

Outside of raids: The pants from the last boss in Heroic Slave Pens. I have to agree with Fen about lacking upgrades from HCH. Even the chest is nearly impossible to upgrade outside of the Tiers or Arena gear until Supremus. Inside raids: DPS = the pants off of Netherspite. Tanking...I dunno. I went with the T4 and am still using them to tank in. I'd have to look into that. --

Or stay with HCH and introduce yourself to Karathess. *cheeky grin* Seriously, there is no reason you can't successfully tank the hunter in HCH gear. I certainly wouldn't put you on the shaman or Karathess himself...but the hunter hits like a pansy. For that matter do what I did and tank him in your DPS gear with tanking food and agi/ironskin elixirs. You get hella avoidance and when the hunter dies, you are in kitty in your DPS gear. You can swap out weapons while you tank and then go to your DPS weapon when you are done with him. This, of course, is with some bits of upgrades to your DPS gear for a bit more stam :-) I guess it just really depends on your group going to SSC and if they are willing/able to take you on your druid vs your main. The T4 legs are very nice, and Gruul is a quick fight, so it might be your preference...depending on how often you use your druid to raid and how much flexibility your SSC group has. Anyway - just some opinions for what they are worth. :-) I just know you guys are doing great in SSC and figure that with as stupidly skewed as the HCH stats are, you might as well put them to good use...unless you want the T4 legs to use as part of the set you use for your 2 piece bonus. Edit: By the way, I'm more than willing to help on the Heroic farming runs if you want for DPS legs, if you don't get the ones off of Netherspite. --

Probably the biggest upgrade I could get right now is to go head to toe and replace enchants and gems. I do get to ssc a fair bit, but I think T4 is more realistic for right now just because of the level of competition and the fact that I could then replace head or gloves and still retain the two piece bonus at least. --

Head and Shoulders, or Head and gloves are I think the two most commonly accepted 2-piece makers for cat dps. You might want to look at the Badge legs if you can't get Skulker's out of Kara perhaps, they're solid just lacking in hit rating :) |
