I've never got into the Arena part of the game - hearing groups all require x-amount of res. to join and yadda yadda yadda. While trying to do normal BGs not in pre-mades...gotta tell you, its going to take forever to try and get just one piece of gear from there and was wondering what might be some other good places to look for "pre-arena" like gear? I want to try and get into this with Danson as an Arms/Fury MSing 2handed freak and just looking for some help from those who have some experiance in arenas. 5v5 will give the most points at any given rating, and 2v2 gives the least. You can, in theory, pay an arena team gold to be added to their roster. Then they carry you through a number of arena matches. You in turn get a vast amount of points that would normally take you weeks to accumulate with your own team. Just depends if you are willing to go that route. |

Will do - dont have anyone else to run with at the moment, so will probably be doing random BGs trying to build up some sort of honor points to try getting out of my gimpy gear heh.

Greetings! I've been PVPing with my wee bonsai for a minute now and have noticed the points aren't that hard to come by for the s1 gear. I should have enough points come Tuesday (Oooo! Today!) to get my first piece! (Druid healing, in bgs, Rocks) I'm still not sure if I want my druid to stay in pvp or go pve but right now that pvp is rockin. I can't imagine ever being a warrior. I assume the points accumulate the same regardless of class. If you stick it out with the BGs for long enough you'd be surprised how quickly you'll be able to afford an s1 piece. Also, if you happen across Tribalmoon sometime, scream at her. She's either working for Aldor/Shat rep or she's PVPing! I'd be happy to toss a lifebloom at your MSing ways! :) --

Find a druid partner and get rating EZ mode Mr Warrior. Play 10 games at least per week, more if you want to get better (duh). I would totally farm BG's for Vindicators gear as it is pretty deece. Yeah you should be able to rank up pretty easily with war/druid or for more points you could try the 3's combo war/druid/lock maybe? I dunno just do what works for you. I would definately take advantage of druids OPness though in 2's. 2c |

I would definately take advantage of druids OPness though in 2's. 2c regarding the gear to get, this is pretty solid advice for any class if your planning on doing long term pvping...use honor to get vindicator gear (boots, belt, bracers, neck, ring) as its the best you can get for pvp for those pieces of gear. get the 17k honor insignia of the alliance...youll notice its more expensive not only because of the resilience but because of the CD difference, 2 minutes as opposed to 5 is a big difference. get on an arena team and do 30% of at least 10 matches a week and get s3 gear (s2 for your shoulders and weapon mostl likely). try to get in a 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 as sometimes one won't always be able to get the ppl together (5v5 probably) and you'll still want points for the week. Don't cheap out and get s2 if you can wait a lil longer and get s3, btw. the difference in gear is too big. and last of all and most important...have fun! ^_^ no point in playing if your not. |
