26 Hunters = Dead Onyxia |
Hey, gang, just a heads-up: LO's loot rules are changing slightly. DON'T PANIC. The rules are being modified to clarify the Shroud to Standard process (ie: 1 person says 'Shroud' and nobody else wants to shroud OR standard, so the shroud is downgraded to a standard, and they get the purchase for 10 points), as well as updating them to reflect the removal of the 'forced save', which now allows folks under 10 points to roll standard and pay whatever they've got instead of the 10. As well, we're including, and making official, the SOP we've already been using for unclaimed Nether Vortices and Epic Crafting Patterns. This clarification is being made because, well, even if nobody in the raid right then needs the stuff, it's better to put it to use at a later date for Lefties who might need it then, rather than let it all rot. Rotting Loot that can't be DE'd helps nobody, after all. So: Here is the link to the clarified post, and just for complete openness, here's the original text of the modified section: quote: Originally posted by What the Post Said Before: III.D.3: Loot Win Decision - Shroud: The person to Shroud with the highest points wins the item, and pays 1/2 points. (See III.D.1: if the winner is the only one who whispered the loot master, their roll is considered a Standard.) - Standard: If no one Shrouds, all people who called "standard" roll "/random 100" and the highest roll wins. If only one person called "standard" that person gets the item automatically. - Save: If no one does "shroud" or "standard," all people who called "save" roll "/random 100" and the highest roll wins. If only one person called "standard" that person gets the item automatically. - Disenchant: If no one expressed an interest in Shroud, Standard or Save, the item may not be picked up and used. The loot master may choose to Disenchant the item or Vendor it for cash. - Ties: In the event of a tie or ties on any roll, a /random 100 roll is between the tied persons is used to determine the winner of said roll. If you've got any questions, feel free to post 'em in the general forum, PM one of the leads, or haul us down in-game. --
