Didn't see this posted anywhere, figured it'd help. I know none of the charters are *quite* at the point where they need these, but I figured I'd post 'em anyways for future reference. Very good vids on these two fights. The person who made them gives a very detailed description of all the abilities of the boss as well as shows you exactly what she means by them during the fight. These have helped some of the top ranked guilds on various servers kill these bosses. |

1) yay for the sticky. 2) A description of how seriously helpful these videos are from my own personal perspective. Having only seen the Lady Vashj encounter through the video prior to Monday night, I can tell you first hand how much it helped me know what to expect during the encounter. While it was not the first time my guild has killed Vashj, it was my first time actually participating in the actual encounter. Having watched it only a couple of times, my performance was apparently flawless (at least according to my raid leader.) So again, I *highly* recommend watching both of these videos when you guys get to these bosses, as chances are watching these vids and knowing what to expect will add to the ease at which you guys down these bosses. |

As a note from someone who has done these encounters - the videos are spot on. Very helpful with step by step explanations of why they are doing what they do. Not your typical "we killed X" videos. --

So ya. We had a go w. Harum Scarum vis Vashj. We got some useful pointers which Brun can probably elaborate better.. 8 healers.. Shaman, ideally elemental, to kite is good. Or lock. We'll try out both, I guess. Misdirects onto teh kiter, ideally.. Having a warlock that runs around and dots everything and helps where necessary is nice. Shadowpriest mind flay to slow the strider down.. Strider should be target of choice until dead, generally. Then naga. Naga can be OT'd and killed into P3 as needed.. One melee dps, one caster on each stairwell.. Nature protection potions for all for P3.. The more dps you have, easier the fight becomes.. But yeah. I think we're in good shape. We can dooo eeet :)! |

Yeah, looking at the harum scarum fight though and the wws it looks like the strider kiters are much less ouchie when slows and threat gen and things can be applied outside the danger zone :) |
