What prof are good for shamies? With the nerf to alch I don't think its nearly as good as it used to be. Also dragonscale lw seems viable with the nice craftable mail stuffs as well as bs with the craftable maces (good for ehancement only methinks).

You pretty much named it. Dragonscale LW, Macesmithing if your Enhancement. If your not, I'd go for enchanting to get +spell damage or +healing on the rings.

I went alch, only cause i been thinking of going Restro at 70. otherwise i would have used all my cash on Dragonscale LW / Hammersmith. D: --

yea alch is still ok for raiding but not nearly as good for lvling any more because you can only have one pot active (one offensive and one defensive) at a time. : \

Do engineering if you ever plan on pvping, shamans with cc are a good thing and grenades are your friend. :) I'm alch/herb at the moment, being able to make resto flasks and mana pots are great on top of having the alchemists stone really helps keep my mana up during a raid fight. --
