This is just an observation I made. On this weekends raid slotting, in raid A: http://leftoversraiding.org/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/52810964/m/558104716 I cross referenced the list with a listing of who has gotten the Ancient Petrified Leaf: http://leftoversraiding.org/points/viewitem.php?s=5d97...56d0cdfc2cc99&i=1439 Does this mean, if the leaf drops in the A raid, it'll be DE'd? (Can you even DE the leaf?) How does that work, exactly - supposing the leaf drops in the A raid? |

It is a pure quest item and cannot be equipped. So, if it were to drop and not be usable it would be destroyed. I would prefer the leadership see it destroyed. I would rather not see it in the hands of a non-Hunter. It would no doubt be put to ill-humor, "I'm a warrior and I got the Leaf before you." Various RP reasons for not wanting to see the Leaf in the wrong hands as well. - Tallivai |

Don't forget that the chest is lootable regardless of your presence during the fight. Thus, it is entirely possible to summon a hunter without a leaf to the chest and have him take it. Just a thought. Furden --

It has been noted several times in the raid and dungeons forum that it can and has been done. If we decide not to, that's fine by me. I have no use for the leaf either way =) Furden --

This thread began 5 hours before Bahamut's post. Kieryn's reply was 4.5 hours before Bahamut's. If anything, this thread merely made Bahamut aware of the situation. Either he has access to this forum, or was made aware of the circumstances through word of mouth. Either way, his post is foolish at best or very rude at worst. So what if a few leaves get destroyed? It isn't the end of the world. Furden --

My point exactly Furden, I'm kinda pissed at the accusatory tone he carries as if his better than thou ass could do a better job at juggling this group! Isn't he a member of Silence? Im certain that Silence DE's a great number of epics as well as destroys leaves. And I don't see their doors swinging open to bring new people along each week, which is another matter all together! | |

School started mid August, and I've been preoccupied with the beast that is Human Gross Anatomy (aka, lots of lab time for dissection). We have our final anatomy examination next week Thursday, directly after which I intend to re-subscribe. See you all soon! Furden --

Actually, I believe that the Leaf can't be DE'd per se, only destroyed or left in the Cache. It isn't, after all, an equippable item - just a quest drop. --
