BlizzCon update: class panel Well the first 30 minutes or so were meh, including a 20-minute retrospective on iterations of what the talents ui looked like ._. what was of any note: -- To support new 70 cap, talent trees will be extended down to new 41 point ubertalent. -- More race-specific class talents, akin to how today's priest class Pallies (and Warlocks): I talked to lead game designer Jeff Kaplan this morning about pallies, he told me the class "is not working as intended" basically. we are supposed to be "holy warriors" who can run up and go toe-to-toe not "hang out at the back of the raid group" this will guide their changes to the class. also (the of-interest-to-locks-part) they will be finding a way of eliminating decursive-and-decursive-like-cleansebotting D: or BTW I have a ticket to the offspring show if anyone is hot to wax 90s nostalgic. I certainly am not. ~T~ |

Ah they also showed final and concept art for some of the final tier 2 epic sets, they were mostly, imo, pretty droolworthy. | |

/nod The bloodelf priest i played had a short-range ae silence and a mana burn that generated arcane energy. don't know if those were specific to that class of BE or BEs in general. |

NOT REALLY A DOCTOR |
From the other interviews, both of those seem to be racials. Though that does solve one question - we now know that Blood Elves can be priests. --
Retired Healer Lead, Retired LO Lead. Still the Web "Lead" though. Neener neener. |

The BE mage I played had the same. Also saw a warlock and warrior. No druid for the BEs tho, it seems. |
